I think that signing off is a nice idea. Photog, should you check back, I wish you all the best. You look like you've achieved quite a bit through non-traditional methods of education, and I hope that that knowledge serves you well.

Try back again in a few months, there are always cycles of folks that come and go. Hopefully this forum will swing back around to the fantastic support system that it once was; it usually does.

Cook always gets the message across perfectly!

Photog, why not just go dark? Invisible mode coupled with the ignore feature (x2, x4, x6)...makes for a nice combo - believe me. I stopped visiting for about a year. Upon return I noticed a dfference that's only gotten worse over the past year. Unfortunately certain 'self-appointed' personalities tend to invite the same or similar ...the adage "tell me who you walk with and I'll tell you who you are" comes to mind.

I agree with Cook, hopefully over time things will return to normal. I've noticed the more positive members have completely moved into the background or worse, stopped visiting. It only does the newcomers a disservice but I remain hopeful; at least for now. As long as I can remember this forum has been a friendly inclusive environment...currently it is not, hopefully over time that will change.

Wishing you good luck in completing your educational and life goals!

Sorry to see you go and I hope you are not leaving because of certain people. If so, just put them on ignore. There will always be good and bad with every forum and you need to determine if the good outweighs the bad for you. Good luck to you and I hope you accomplish the goals you have set for yourself!

Sorry to see you go. I hope you will lurk when possible and maybe someday you will be happy to join us again. This forum always was an open friendly helpful forum. Posters who wanted to participate in debates went to the other forum. People here just offered free helpful opinions in a friendly welcoming manner.

Now in my opinion if someone wants a different kind of forum they should find or start one. This forum is not usually critical and most discussions can be held in a non accusatory friendly manner. I have cut back on my posting because I am out of date on many changes and I know nothing about business degrees so don't answer those questions, if someone comes in with a need for support or encouragement I don't try to tell them how to change their program I just try to help them handle the stresses of the program they are in.

Again sorry to see you go.

Let's stick to the thread's original purpose and stop discussing the other user. The ban is for 7 days but I will be keeping a close eye on the forum to try to help keep discussions on-track and positive. Thank you.
