... And I am extremely nervous! I have to take it Wednesday morning, so I don't have much time to prepare. I don't make much money so I can't purchase any resources outside of IC; will this be enough for me to pass (50)? Any general tips pertaining to principles of marketing? I'm actually currently enrolled in the class and can't stand the way the lectures are given. I'll be graduating this May, so I really need to pass this CLEP. I downloaded the study guide provided a really nice person in the mkt thread. But can anyone confirm IC will be enough to pass? I plan on devoting a solid number of hours to studying over the next few days.

This is one of the easier courses, and a solid foundation to start from (I saw concepts from it pop up in Advertising and Strategic Management exams too).
Consider
Free Clep Prep.com as well, but for now take the time to go through it. A lot of it felt very obvious to me when I studied for it.

Thank you!! I will definitely utilize that as well. Right now I'm cycling through each section three times to get the concepts memorized.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Thank you, I was able to find the snazzlefrag notes!
Does anyone have any general information regarding the exam? Is it multiple choice, or fill in the blank like the IC questions? Generally application or definition?

With the exception of the 6-credit English Composition exam (which has a multiple choice and essay portion), all exams are multiple choice. There are a few (such as Ethics in America) in which there is an optional essay portion in addition to the exam, but check with whichever school(s) you're going to first as to whether or not you need to take it (neither CCAF nor TESC required it, for my personal experience).
The IC flashcards are designed this way to help you better remember a concept. You'll notice on repeat runs that it will be different words/phrases that you will need to fill out, to make sure you've fully understood it.
Try not to overthink this exam though; again, it's an introductory one, so there's a few things that are common sense. And all questions are worth the same, so there's no use in spending too much time with one.

Thank you again for being so helpful! So far I'm enjoying the challenge posed by the blanks switching around each time through; I actually think it's much more effective than many of the ways my professors have tried to tell us to study. This will be great! I'll be sure to post my results.
