TESU PSY-379 Social Psychology is 6 Credits? Why on Earth? Are there any equivalents? 2 UL courses in Social Psychology maybe? A Coopersmith or SDC course?
Thanks for the help
I have already taken PSY 104 Social Psychology thru SDC equivalent to PSY 237 Intro to Soc PSY 1 for TESU

Yes, you need a 3cr UL Social Psych course now - the only inexpensive option I know of is the UExcel exam - it's $110.

The BA in Psychology section C requires 6 SH in Social Psychology, without duplicates.
TESU's own six-credit
PSY-379 is intended to fill the requirement, but a combination of three-credit social psychology content from SDC/UExcel/etc can work as long as they transfer in as different courses.
You already have one course (LL) out of the way, so there's plenty of options to fill the remaining course:
Study.com
Psychology 104: Social Psychology, transfers as PSY-237 Intro to Social Psychology I, 3 credits LL (
you took this one)
Psychology 316: Advanced Social Psychology, transfers as PSY-245 Social Psychology, 3 credits LL
UExcel
UExcel PSYx325 - Advanced Social Psychology, 3 credits UL
TESU
PSY-370 Social Psychology I, e-Pack, 3 credits UL

I was hoping to take it through Coopersmith but I can do study. Do you know for sure that they will use both of those courses?
This was the response when I asked about Coopersmith:
Both courses would transfer in as PSY-237 and duplicate credit. You would be able to have one apply toward the requirement and then take another Social Psychology Course. Please see the link below to the Social Psychology Course we offer that would not duplicate credit:
https://www2.tesu.edu/course.php?CourseCode=PSY-370&sem=
Never-mind, i looked at the equivalency and it is listed as you said. Thank you, I will continue with the SDC courses. Thank you Scorpion

Coopersmith's Social Psych course is LL, so it does duplicate Study.com's course.
Study.com does have that second Social Psych, and it was even upgraded to UL through ACE back in 2019, but unfortunately TESU will not take it as UL. It doesn't duplicate the first course though. I think you can use it, as long as you'll be able to meet the UL requirements for the degree (and if you're using all alt-credit, I don't think it can be done without this second part being UL, but I might be wrong).

Does anyone know what the PSYx325 uexcel exam comes into TESU as? I already have credit for PSY 370 at TESU from an RA transfer and I'm trying to figure out which will be my best option to take!

FYI:
My daughter just transferred her Social Psych courses to TESU and they were accepted.
She did the LL through SDC and the UL through the UExcel. She barely studied for the UExcel and got a B. Had to go take the exam in person, but there were several locations around our area and the cost was only $110.
