Just FYI - TESU advised me that this course will transfer as COM-290 Presentational Speaking. Smile

From reading this thread, it seems like the Shortest Study.com course is the Presentation Skills with 32 lessons and then the second shortest would be the Vietnam War with 48 lessons? Anything else that's good for general education electives or free elective credits?
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)

AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I

Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

Study.com's Education 105: Special Education History & Law has 41 lessons.

Otherwise, I'd say whatever rolls over.   For example, I only need 55 lessons from earth science because I took geology.

I'm pretty sure in the ACE evaluations it states that S.C. Physical Geology and Earth Science can't both be claimed for credit. The college possibly might not give you credit for both.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'd be interested to see where ACE says that, as study.com's claims it should work: https://study.com/directory/school/Thoma...ransferTab

That being said, I'm just using it as a rollover example. I do not plan on taking the course.

This is what it says on the ACE registry:
"Geology 101: Physical Geology (Geology 101)
Credit Type: Course
ACE Course Number: 0031
Organization: Study.com, LLC
Credit Recommendation: In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in introduction to earth
science or physical geology. Credit may only be awarded for this course or Earth Science 101: Earth Science (SDCM-0029). (6/16)."

I'd be interested if anyone received credit for both of them at TESU. My son took both of them and I did not notice until I went to register the 2nd class with ACE. It may be possible TESU will take both of them, yet somewhere else may not???????

I would think that Study.com would put some sort of disclaimer on their website for this, instead of making you check ACE for it.  Wouldn't it be nice to see a note on there stating that it was a duplicate course and not to waste your money on it?
