$145.00 for Operations Management!

This is a certification by test. Go to APICS - The Association for Operations Management for more info. I've ordered the software. I found a site (not sure if it was linked to in the other thread) but everyone in the feedback agreed that the software was the key to passing. It is a series of five exams. First on is the intro and is a lower level 3 credit hours. The other four are upper level but you must pass three of them to get any credit. I've decided to go this route for numerous reasons. I seem to be able to test well and it looks like the sample questions in the software are a pretty good warm up. The feedback scores for those that used the CD's seemed to be around 315 with 300 being a pass. I'd guess this would be like a high 60's score on a CLEP. I just completed Ops management which covers a lot of the same ground.

I'll try and put together some feedback.

The nice thing about this, as noted, is that it's 12 upper level credit if you pass. If you join APICS it means a certificate as well. More stuff for your resume. That way I won't just have a degree but a BS + FEMA certificate + APICS certificate.

All exams are through Pearsons VUE.

Software? Can you tell me what software and where to purchase it? Or does someone on this forum have their old stuff from this course they would be willing to sell? Pls. private message me if you do.

I am considering this for my husband. He has many certificates, but haven't had much luck in getting credits for those.
