I would like to take one math course at a time at the graduate level, but I'm not sure how to go about this. I don't think I can do two courses at a time because for math, it would just be too much, especially online where I can't talk to the teacher in the classroom and who knows how often they will be available. And I have to work, of course.
The biggest issue is the cost. To take one course at a time is probably the most expensive way to do it.
I know that Emporia and Northwest Missouri State University are usually recommended here, but I wasn't sure if anything has changed. I don't want an education degree. The University of Texas Permian Basin also has a math program now at the graduate level.
Between all three, the cost isn't that different from what I saw.
Curious about what other people are doing.

Have you considered the Master of Science in Data Analytics at Eastern University for $ 9,900? I know this is an applied interdisciplinary degree rather than an entirely mathematical one, but the price is right and appears to have utility!

A data analytics master's degree isn't related to a math Master's degree. A data analytics masters has the same or less math than a computer science degree. The majority of his courses will have very little to do with math directly.
MS, Data Science, Eastern University
ALM, Information Technology, Harvard University
AB, Government, Georgetown University
In Progress: MS, Computer Science, Georgia Institute of Technology (Projected Completion 2027)

Some options were discussed in an earlier thread.
https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...athematics
Open University (UK) is around 18k USD for US students. Withdrew from MSCHE last year so graduates have to rely on equivalence rather than direct regional accreditation.
Emporia State is around 13.5k USD for residents of Kansas and some neighbouring counties, and 18k USD otherwise.
University North Alabama, 15k USD.

OP, if you happen to be Australian, then this is a good cheap way to go about studying Masters level papers in mathematics from a reputable university online:
