Hi,
Has anyone found an ACE or NCCRS option for the Non-Western History requirement for the BA in History AOS at TESU? My son has had no luck so far and would love to find an option. The options from Study dot com don't work for this requirement.

Would the Survey of world history from straighterline count?

Coopersmith has a Pacific WWII battle course

Coopersmith has a Yom Kippur war course as another possible option

I don't think the Straighterline course works, as it would fall more in line with the World History/Civilization requirement, but I will have him send these 3 to TESU. Thanks!

The Yom Kippur class on Coopersmith works, many thanks!
Open to other options if anyone knows others.

Great to know 1 course worked! Would be a fabulous idea to create an entry in the wiki for this particular degree to help other people.
Not sure if the course can be done, but might be worth asking someone at Rechtschaffen Institute of Judaic Studies if you can do 1 course as an online non degree seeking student. The course The Early Ashkenazim: 10th and 11th Century (JHis 303) might also suffice for the requirement and is NCCRS.

Tal has more nccrs Jewish history courses, can't load the website well but they have:
Advanced Jewish History I: From Yavne to Pumpedisa (History 201)
Advanced Jewish History II: From Yavne to Pumpedisa (History 202)
Elementary Jewish History: Post-Temple Period (History 102)
A Survey of Jewish History: The Destruction of the Second Temple to the Establishment of the State of Israel (History 101)
https://talprograms.org/courses/
Davar seems to be a great option because they are afilliated with TESU, nccrs acredited. History of the Early Ashkenazi Jews (HIS 210) might qualify for the requirement.

It may depend on familiarity with the topic, but I used the DSST for History of the Soviet Union to fill this slot. The Instacert study cards were very helpful and I even did the study.com prep course too (it doesn't count for credit).
Ultimately, I found it easy but history is such a broad topic that it sometimes depends on your knowledge going in too. I preferred to sit for a quick proctored test instead of pursuing a formal 12-16 week class.
