Troubles with Sophia Transfer (Science & History)
#1
Hey, so I just received my updated transcript, and TESU put my Environmental Science and Intro to Biology under Additional AOS Electives, and they placed the Bio Lab under Scientific Knowledge.

I'm not sure how to fulfill the Scientific Knowledge at this rate.

Also, US History didn't transfer onto my transcript at all. So I'm puzzled about my History 3SH Requirement.

I'd take suggestions on how to go forward, I don't want to keep throwing things at it and hoping they stick. I'm puzzled why US History I didn't make it at all onto my transcript.

Early stages of transferring credit, the system was updated to a newer format, it doesn't go accordingly as planned. No worries yet, just get all the credits transferred, then email the academic advising team that you have completed the classes and if they can place them in the right spots... Create a spreadsheet for your personal reference and tracking purposes, if you can, make the file viewable not editable and link us to your one/google drive, so we can review and comment...

I had something like this happen several times.  I simply emailed Don Stoltz (or set a phone appointment), explained the issue, and he was able to fix it on the spot.

Ok, I'll email about the US History, because it got completely skipped. Good to know it's not a huge deal at this stage.

I made my spreadsheet readable. You can view it here. I'm sitting at 34.5 credits without the US History.

Hmm, are you set on getting the TESU BACS? Would something like the following work for you? Pierpont BOG AAS Info Systems emphasis, UMPI BAS minor in MIS and 3-4 transfer courses towards the MAOL, and a mix/match of certs, degree, experience to your liking. You can wait for UMPI to complete their Your Pace Comp Science or go the WGU route as alternatives if TESU doesn't fit your needs.

This is something I'm not familiar with; I'll have to do some research on this to see.
