ASU credit for $99 until 08-17-2020!

The class was a pleasure to take. It was very well organized in my opinion. You had a timer and and you knew at the beginning of week what to read and do. They even had the pages that you needed to read in PDF format. I uploaded those to google books and read them on my free time. The discussion assignments were great to gave you something to think about.
I did encounter a problem with my final but that was resolved as well.

Hrmm.... Mine just disappeared off the dashboard and went into History. I'd emailed the support to ask why my test results never updated and when could I convert for credit, and they said wait till the end of this week. Looks like I gotta yell at them again. Where do you convert it to credit? On the Dashboard, or in the class?

My grade was updated as soon as I finished the final. I did have a problem with the software used for proctoring. I think it was on my end I didn't update flash maybe. I emailed them and then called them to make sure that my test was good to go. Guy on the phone said everything was fine that proctoring had come back good.
After the deadline passed, on the dashboard next to the class there was a blue button that said something like "convert to credit." Once I clicked on that I was taken to paypal where I paid $100.
Course has now disappeared but dashboard says "credit progress 3 of 12" on the right hand side.

I think that there are some degrees that you can pursue (almost) entirely online through ASU. But they are an expensive school and not really worth it for the kind of people who on this forum.

Yes ASU has a very robust online college program including one of the only online ABET certified electrical engineering degrees.

If you live in the states, Starbucks employees get their ASU online degrees paid for: https://starbucks.asu.edu/#degrees

that's so dumb
the stupid software shouldn't even require flash

https://theblog.adobe.com/adobe-flash-update/
"we will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020"

THREE YEARS ago they announced this
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplay...-life.html

"As previously announced in July 2017, Adobe will stop distributing and updating Flash Player after December 31, 2020"

Q) Will Adobe make previous versions of Adobe Flash Player available for download after 2020?

A) No. Adobe will be removing Flash Player download pages from its site and Flash-based content will be blocked from running in Adobe Flash Player after the EOL Date.
Adobe always recommends using the latest, supported and up-to-date software. Customers should not use Flash Player after the EOL Date since it will not be supported by Adobe.

I think Microsoft is the only browser that currently supports Flash
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecyc...of-support
and even its going to remove it at the end of the year
"Flash will be completely removed from all browsers by December 31, 2020, via Windows Update"

With the way TESU is going I'm seriously considering changing to ASU. They do have a lot of Online Degrees available. I think Western states pay in state tuition. Also I may get a free ride I'm not sure yet. I also enjoyed the online class at ASU more then TESU. It will be a lot faster at TESU though specially with Sophia and other online resources.

Agreed. Good classes.

I’m really enjoying Astronomy. 3 in my family are taking it. It’s an interesting class, and it’s a cheap science w/lab.

There are more classes starting this week. I’m trying to keep myself from registering for too many ASU classes. I still have some Sophia courses to finish too.

FF still supports Flash, but only barely. I could not download it at all from the "correct" Adobe page so I had to find an old page that linked directly to the download file. It was more than a little annoying.

I registered for several ASU classes. Astronomy and 3 classes that started this week. I do not recommend this. Health & Wellness is more difficult than I expected. There are a lot more videos for Western Civilization than I expected, along with more reading. I have not yet started Human Origins.

Thankfully, I am not going into any of these subjects blind. I do have at least a cursory knowledge of the subject matter and that helps. I'm not sure I'll pass any but Astronomy, though.

I'm taking courses at ASU right now also.  I am considering the Astronomy class but fearful of the math component it states in the description.  How difficult is it?  HOw often do you use math skills in this class?  I haven't studied algebra in years and haven't taken calculus ever to give you an idea of where I'm at...Also, do you or anyone else know if the Introduction to health and wellness class also at ASU for $99 deal would be accepted at COSC  as a social science class or an elective as a liberal arts class?  Or useless to take?  I may go into business administration so not sure how that works as far as electives totally unrelated to career choice..  thanks for any information !
