You don't need an edu address for student discounts, most companies will let you fax or email current schedules, ID's, etc.
TESC has contracts with Dell, HP, and Apple for computers and JourneyEd for software. You only need fax, email or upload a pic/scan of your student ID or a schedule for academic software from JourneyED. For the computers you use the links from the student website and it brings you to the computer company university sites with the discount already built in. I've saved boatloads of cash between my Dell computers and JourneyEd.
