I am also a nurse and if I'm correct, you're going to need a BSN in order to be considered into most, if not all, NP programs. If you want easy then you should probably steer clear of the nursing field. I'm actually getting out of nursing, at least for a little while. I'm interested in finishing my BS in Mathematics, so we will see how that turns out. Let us know how this went!
