I tried to study at least an hour a night for about a week. However, it did not work like that. What helped the most was studying the REA practice tests, I read each question and looked at the answer explanation and then wrote a little note like: "Reticular FOrmation - arousal" "Breathing, Walking & Heartbeat-Medulla". In terms of actual, productive study time: less than 5 hours. The specific exam feedback is a great starting place also.
