April, sorry to hear about your experience. It seems that there is always that percentage of "bullet proof" service member in every location that gives us a bad name (in today's politically correct environment).
We have the same problems here on Fort Hood, the sad thing is that that mentality of these young Soldiers is getting them killed. It seems that every other week, we get an accident report, usually they are of young, under 21, drinking, service members who have wrapped themselves around telephone poles or other objects that get in their way like trees. Or they go out and buy a new crotch rocket and think that they don't need helmets doing 150 mph.
Oh well, there are bad apples everywhere, including the military, and it is sad that they will use the excuse of serving their country to justify their behavior.
