I know that EC gives an opportunity to remove courses from a transcript. I am not sure how TESC handles that.
Another thing that is unique to EC and COSC (I think) is that they award letter grades for some (older non-refreshed versions) of the DSST exams.
I do not know if either scenario is useful for the next level of college admissions.
