You'd be fine with either into to psych or HG&D. IC covers the social sciences very well, IMO, but putting all your eggs in one basket, so to speak, isn't a great idea.
My way of doing it: buy a used textbook on the subject, go through and highlight all the "chunks" - the bold print, factual information and people, discoveries and theories. Read it through a few times, do IC religiously and you'll be set.
