Have you heard of the CLEP Professor software? Would highly recommend it for this test. Precal was probably my most difficult exam yet.
If you decide not to take the CLEP, you can use the ALEKS program, but I personally would take the CLEP.
And the Peterson's practice exams are usually pretty accurate. I always say that if you score at least 60% correct on Peterson's, you are more than ready to pass the real thing.
