Charter Oak Plan - let me know if this works
#1
Check it out:

im in an nonstop epic battle choosing between Excelsior and Charter Oak.

I don't care one bit what my bachelors degree is in: General Studies, Liberal Studies, Stripping Studies - whatever - i just want that piece of paper from an accreditted college

So here it is:
i sent in my app to Excelsior and it looks like i only need 21 more UL credits (including capstone)
So i could just take Business Ethics DSST / Rise & Fall DSST / the ALEKS Intro Stats / World Pop ECE / Literacy Instruction Elementary ECE / and then the capstone.
So 4 more tests, one ALEKS course, and the required cap.

So that seemed all nice and dandy, but then I looked more into Charter Oak - and they only require 18 UL credits for the Individualized/Liberal Studies concentration (including capstone) - and I have 9 right now (Substance Abuse, Business Law II, and Civil War) -
So assuming they accept everything like Excelsior did - i would only need to take Business Ethics and Rise and Fall only and then the capstone
So 2 tests and the required cap.

So it seems like it would be a no-brainer - go with COSC
but it looks like theyre hella anal about whether or not you can choose to do Individualized Studies

So - anybody with experience thats received or is goin for Individualized Studies can give me any pointers into convincing those guys to give me that concentration?

thanx yas!
