I took ECE Org Behavior in January this year at a University of Phoenix testing center. While I had no problems at the test center itself, the scheduling spots that were available using the Pearson online scheduling system were very few and frequently full. Yet when I arrived at the test center, I would say 2/3 of the stations were empty and I overheard a staff member tell another test taker who had mentioned the difficulty in online scheduling that the online system was "screwed up" and showed fewer availability spots than there were. It wasn't rare that the system showed an unavailable date when the center was actually empty. That staff member had recommended that to find out the true availability of the test date, it was best to call the center directly and make a phone appointment. (Funny thing is, when I was trying to call the center before to make a phone appt, no one responded to my voicemail, so there's a catch 22.)
I did schedule using the online system myself, and for what it's worth, I had no problems rescheduling an exam date. It's just finding an open date to schedule online that seems to be the main issue as well as difficulty in contacting test centers directly.
