No, trust me, it is really bad for me! Math is the only thing that I had left to complete if my score comes in high enough on English Comp w/Essay.
I know I should have gotten something in writing from TESC prior to going the ALEKS route, but I thought ALEKS Beginning Algebra satisfied MAT102. I was certain that others on the forum had received Mathematics credit for that course. I don't understand how they can change their minds on this within the same academic year.
The TESC college catalog for 2009/2010 states:
BA in Liberal Studies Credit Distribution...
D. Natural Sciences and Mathematics 12
One college-level mathematics course required (3)
One computer science course recommended (3)
Other natural sciences/mathematics (6)
The ACE credit recommendation for ALEKS Beginning Algebra states:
Credit Recommendation: In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in math (1/07).
