There's no failure except in no longer trying and it sounds like you're getting back in for another test so my hat is off to you studenttoday.
You did not fail for lack of trying!
I don't know whether or not you know this or if it even matters to you but I believe college board will give you your second chance at a test you failed for free. You will still have to pay your testing center fee but the $72 CLEP fee will not be charged. Gotta wait 6 months though. Think of it as 6months of prep time
(if this isn't the case one of you guys with more wisdom please correct me)
