I am a college freshmen and I am trying to get the college algebra clep out of the way with over my christmas break. I took algebra 1,2 and trig in high school, but I seem to forget math very quickly so I have to brush up a little on the basics. We never really got much into logarithms, so I have to learn that completely.
I already have the REA book, but not the disk with the practice tests on it. I have heard that the CLEP Professor videos are pretty much the way to go for college algebra. I also found these video's and I was watching a few last night...
Virtual Math Lab - College Algebra
They seem to be allright. My question is: Will the virtual math lab videos along with the petersons tests alone be enough to study from or do I need to pay $30 for the clep professor videos? Do the virtual math lab videos cover everything on the test? If the clep professor videos are a lot better, I dont mind paying the $30 but I was just wondering if they are really worth it compared to the VML videos. And I was also wondering about the practice tests.. I got the REA disk with the book but I lost it. Should I just use the petersons tests or are the REA tests on the disk a lot better?
Thanks and good luck to everyone!
