Yes, the school is very legit and it regionally accredited. Below are the NAAB accredited Architecture schools in California I have spoken with and was advised having a degree with Excelsior with acceptable.

Cal Poly Pomona
NewSchool of Architecture + Design
California College of the Arts
Southern California Institute of Architecture
As for getting a good job, that depends on a lot of other factors. Having a degree with Excelsior like any other accredited school will create more opportunities to get job interviews, it's up to the individual on getting the job. Meaning, what soft and transferable skills would you provide to the prospective employer if you have no experience. I noticed after updating my profiles on CareerBuilder and monster, I have received more traffic on my resume, and even had interviews from two companies who NEVER responded prior to getting my degree. I was told by one of the recruiters they put filters on searching for applicants with min of 4-year degree.
