TESC and ALEKS Business Statistics

Well, that's where they posted it for me, but that's NOT where I want or need it. If I could do it all over, I would choose Intro to Stats, but the Business option sounded more 'business' oriented. I started it when the whole Aleks thing was developing and there was not clear info. Also, it was not possible to get an answer from TESC when I wasn't yet officially enrolled, and the Aleks thing was still relatively unknown and not understood by them.

I went to the Aleks website, dl the pdf of the course descriptions and compared them line by line. They are identical! If anything, it looks like there are a few more modules added to Business Stats in the time series and quality control. But frankly, this could be an omission by Aleks. I've seen something similar in a few other class options.

So, I opened a ticket and attached both course descriptions making an appeal based on the fact they are identical courses. (Seems like just a marketing thing to me to give them different names.)

I'll keep you posted.

This course took me a long time. I finished it months and months ago. And I do NOT want to go back and do it over under a different name!
