I wrote to the liberal arts advising team and got a response that makes me feel very comfortable about registering for more than one EC CD-ROM course at a time.
Generally, your grade will be based on two written projects and two [unproctored] essay exams, equally weighted (25% each), and no other obligations. You and your instructor agree at the beginning of the course on when you will turn in your assignments. You can complete the required work at any time within the term.
