Stick with current college or go TESC?

morfritz Wrote:Alright, so I contacted their Military Help Department. I talked with a rep and she gave me two options. 1. BA Social Science - 15 more credits until complete in a 200 level Social Science (18 credit residency requirment). 2. BA Liberal Studies - completely satisfied, however, would have to pay $1500 out-of-pocket as the military would not cover that. Also, the email said: "...for a degree in Liberal Studies, you will have completed all of the requirements (or very close)". So, I have to find out what the very close means.
So, what to do? Option 1 = Free plus 6 more classes, Option 2 = $1500 and I have a degree. I talked to my wife and she said that maybe down the line I would kick myself in the butt because I was going for a BA Social Science and not BA Liberal Studies. I just want a degree, dammit. :-)
So, I don't know. I am gonna talk to them again regarding the "very close" in parentheses.
Any input from this group?

liberal studies and social science... same thing... there really isn't much of a difference. just go for your masters...
