I have 31 credits (1 ASU + 30 UMPI) with a GPA of 4.0 before conferring BLS with Minor in Psychology. All the best in achieving your goals.
Does it make any difference for the application now if I don't have a cGPA with LSAC? Does it make any sense to get additional undergraduate credits since it still won't help with getting a cGPA with LSAC?
Trying to understand if I need to forget about my dream of getting into ABA T14 or at least T50 law school, or instead, focus on LSAT and get a high score with my GPA 4.0 and still apply?
Appreciate any input.
Do you hope to practice law?
I completed a few law school classes from a California distance law school with no desire of ever taking neither the mini BAR exam nor the BAR exam. That said, law school is quite challenging.
Thank you very much for your warm words of support.
Yes, eventually, I wanted to become a personal injury/disability lawyer and advocate for people with disability. That being said, I, myself, when I was 27 (October 2023), was in a not at fault car accident and have spinal cord injuries and shoulder injury which I will be suffering from the whole my life, not to mention PTSD after the car accident, Anxiety Disorder (hard to realize your whole future will be with a cane and you can't work as much as you were able before to feed your kids and support your wife) and my childhood ADHD. Studying became one of my few joys in life, along with my family, and I found DegreeForum right a month after my accident and got my UMPI undergrad and ENEB Master's from home in a year with the help from Sophia and the assistance and support of our forum members. I see how disabled people are in dire need of support and advocating for them, and it was my own experience as well, so I was inspired by my story and story of other people, doesn't matter, younger or older than me, who need advocating, and also considering my learning style, I decided to become a lawyer.
Now, looking at my story, I am even more frustrated and upset that I won't be able to apply with LSAT GPA. That's why I am looking for success stories from other members. I am considering NWCULaw, though, but as a last resort.
