There are two issues, 1) Degree of choice. 2) Maxing the transfer credit. Your previous thread, I mentioned to do the quick degree, but some senior members thought otherwise. What you can do now is to complete whatever you're working on at UMPI, if you're going to finish this session (I suggest doing classes that can't be transferred in, or the 3-4 MAOL classes that can be used for the Masters), put the next session on hold. You're paying for a session at UMPI without knowing how to max the transfer of credits. You're missing so many of the classes from Sophia.org and Study.com...
There's always good advice on this forum, in the last thread, you need to decide which pathway you want to go. My pathway recommendation right now is a quick check the box degree, then go the Masters route, BLS with a minor or two of your choice, plus the 3-4 classes that go towards the MAOL. An MAOL is very much like a MBA, but focus is on OL, not everyone needs a generic MBA (business administration).
Generally, if I was in your shoes, and I'm a life long learner, you want to go for a degree and keep laddering upwards. You want to have a balanced trifecta mix/match of certs, degree, experience. Unless you're no longer going to go for a Masters or anything remotely in the future (like when you're 50+), then the Business degree is your best bet.
I think I understand what you're saying now - I used the What-If scenario report and if I changed to a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with either an Accounting Minor or Business Administration Minor or BOTH - I could do those classes I need but then fill up the remaining number of hours required to get the degree and if I'm understanding correctly it can be any courses as long as I have 30 hours at UMPI and that any other courses I take equal up to 120 credit hours.
You're saying I need the 9 upper level hours - 3 courses of 300 level or higher...then I need 18 more credit hours or 5 courses.
The BLS report says 30 hours Residency and I have 3 hours - 27 hours remaining (9 courses). I need 9 credit hours (3 courses) of 300 level or higher. So I could take 3 courses - 300 level or higher at UMPI = 9 credit hours...then I take another 6 courses of something to get an additional 18 hours. That gives me the 30 hours for residency + 57 hours I have already. I'm at 87 credit hours but also still have to meet those Gen Eds too - 33 hours remaining or 11 courses.
Also if I'm understanding right - I could then go back to get a Bachelors in Business Administration if I wanted to by completing additional credits and have 2 degrees?
Are there certain courses I should be taking at Study.com, Sophia, and UMPI?
