EU have now provided me with an unofficial eval for the BPS or Bachelor in Professional Studies. It lists "approximately" 21 credits, including several that overlap with the 33 needed for the BS Business, such as business writing, cornerstone. The unofficial eval doesn't mention the BPS Capstone, which is different from the BSB Capstone (already taken), so I am assuming the official eval will include it, raising the total credits needed to 24. Obviously I'll make sure of this if I elect to pursue the BPS. The most significant difference is that the BPS requires College Algebra or Statistics, while the BSB requires College Algebra, in addition to a data literacy requirement met by my Intro Stats credits. Secondarily, for the BPS, I would need 6 new credits in upper-level Arts & Sciences, which while not a show-stopper, would increase my time commitment.
Over the holidays, I worked on 6 SDC courses (still need to take the finals; I am passing the practice tests with room to spare) and 1 Sophia (a second nearly done) for the BSB requirements that have aged out plus the new-to-me HR Mgt. Assuming EU applies these courses as they have for others in the past, this leaves me with College Algebra, Business Writing, and Cornerstone. College Algebra was the obstacle before, but I believe the Sophia course will work for me. I'm intrigued by the UMPI MS in Business (more business education?!) and the mental discipline associated with knuckling down to complete the Algebra requirement will be good for me.
I hope nobody else finds themselves withdrawn with one class left, but I hope some of this info is helpful.
