Yeah, that's true. You can transfer in all your credits, take TECEPs for the required RA credits, complete the cornerstone on edX, and then only need to take the capstone at TESU. The residency fee wouldn’t matter much since it costs nearly the same either way, as long as you complete the cornerstone on edX.
Once enrolled at TESU, you can work ahead, as you’ll have access to all the required assignments and instructions when the course starts. You also know which book is used, so you can read ahead before the term begins. In theory, you could finish everything within the first two weeks of the term.
