I would recommend that if you have the syllabus, or links to the course descriptions, you provide that to the school (UMPI) as it can often assist with a proper and timely equivalent evaluation. The reason you would not see them in the transfer database now is that as of now, no one has tried to transfer those specific courses.
I would encourage him to apply now and send the transcripts he has. There is no benefit in waiting to apply, as it takes time to get existing credits evaluated. Applying now doesn't mean he would have to start any earlier than he's planning to do so, but always good to know where you officially stand sooner than later. Also, since he has college credits he would be applying as a transfer student (from the CC) - they may not ask/require the HS documentation.
Thanks for the response. We will work on getting the course descriptions and we have the syllabi and that makes sense as I believe the classes he took are new to the school he attended. My understanding was that you needed to have an associate or other degree to not have to submit HS documents? In any case he is wrapping up the Sophia courses and is still against the study.com courses. Have you or anyone taken any of the business courses at study.com and were they very difficult or are all the finals proctored?
