of course this isnt including the interested I had to pay on loans and credit cards while uncle sam loses my paperwork and forgets to pay my college tuition.
dont let these numbers fool you, joining the military to go to college is not a good idea, if you want to go to college, then go to college. If you want to be in the military, join the military. If you are in the military or going into the military anyways then try to go to college while you are in, but be ready to fight for those benefits. they make it extra difficult to accomplish these task plus it is rare for you to work less than 12 hours a day. I joined the military to go to college, with out websites like this one, I would still be dreaming about an AS, with this help I am about half way through my Masters. In other words, the dollar amount was low but the opportunity cost was huge.
Just bumping this thread incase anyone else wants to take a shot.
