I'm from Canada, not the US though and am planning on transferring to a BA once I've had enough fun with certs, diplomas and Masters for the time being.
Not having a bachelor's degree is an issue for many online job applications. You have to fill out that section as it can't be bypassed quite often. And yes explaining how one has a master's degree without first earning a bachelor's degree could be an issue in the US as it's not possible in the US to complete a master's without a bachelor's with only 1 exception we've seen on here, but that doesn't mean the job search won't be challenging and explaining it away in interviews would be a challenge as well. If one was to say they hacked their way through their degree, it would come across poorly in an interview.
