The minors aren't obscure. They're just for on campus programs. You can complete many of them if you're able to transfer in the credits. For the BLS, you do have to complete at least 9 of the minor credits at UMPI for the first minor and you can have up to 3 minors. Don't get too hung up on minors. They're not listed on the diploma, but are on the transcript. If they don't help one career wise, it's not always worth the effort to get those credits.
