Since Modern States/CLEP offer several of the GenEds and they seem to be practically free, I'm going to start from there. I've got a few questions though:
1. Modern States Chemistry is said to cover CHY 111 and CHY 112. Does this mean it would give 8 credits total, since CHY 111 and CHY 112 give 4 credits each?
2. What does Modern States French cover? The website says it covers Level 1 and Level 2 content, so would it be equivalent to French at both the Beginner and Intermediate levels at UMPI?
3. The following 12 courses are the only ones from my program that seem to be offered only at UMPI. Do you know if I could find two of them somewhere else, so that I could only take the required 10 UL at UMPI?
HTY 313: Early Modern Europe
HTY318: Modern European History
HTY456: Films of the Cold War
HTY/POS347: Russia from Kiev to Peter the Great
HTY/POS370: Topics in Non-Western History
HTY/POS371: International Relations
HTY/POS377: Modern China
POS301: European Governments
POS332: Constitutional Law
POS335: Modern Political Thought
POS343: Marxism
POS493: Political Science Capstone Seminar
4. Is there any other option for the creative requirement besides Visual Communications at Sophia? For example, I'd like to do a creative writing course...
5. Lastly, do you know if 10 courses in one session is doable? It's what my budget allows at the moment. Keep in mind that I would have time to just study all day, but I just want to know if it's possible!
