Course Withdrawals & Retakes
#3

Yes, the entire grade for the course is based on the Final Assessment. Any course you withdrawal from will give you a W on your transcript. You need to consider how those Ws will appear to law schools and how they count them in your GPA. I have never seen anyone allowed to retake a course to improve their grade unless they failed. Grades aren't issued until after the term ends either.

Gothca. I have lot's of MD grades from my main school (Military Drops from Penn State) and generally am not too worried about them - they are consolidated when the grades are uploaded into LSAC's IGUGS for CAS, which is what's submitted to law schools. An addendum explaining my circumstances should hopefully suffice.

Is there anywhere in writing that says that? And how does it include the rough draft. As in, when I submit the rough draft I can't withdraw anymore? What happens if I go into the registration portal and just... drop the course before the semester ends?

Thank you so much for your help!
