Dude you really think I care what happens to VUL? I really don't. I don't think it's going to survive. There are hundreds of colleges that I don't think are going to survive the next 5-10 years. Private colleges are really struggling and it's not going to get any better for them. State colleges are also struggling but have the benefit of taxpayers to bail them out. We're seeing SUNY colleges cut programs left and right due to the lack of students. I imagined other state universities have the same issue. I know U of Maine has struggled for years. UMPI's YourPace has been a huge benefit to them both. I live in a college town and it's definitely not the same since Covid arrived in March 2020 when they were forced to close. It's never going to be the same.
I tried to kindly close this out with my comment, " Tomorrow morning, VUL closing update. " It was an olive branch–a nod that VUL is as vulnerable as any university in this post-COVID era.
However, saying you don't care while posting detailed doom responses is still comical. You know the schools I don't care about? The ones you don't see me responding to over and over again. People who spend time projecting doom and gloom tend to be right eventually. I feel it is a wasted way of living. So we will always be at odds, and you will always eventually be right, so here we meet again.
Some may ask why I even respond–it's my guilty pleasure.
