Get your transcripts and apply to UMPI, if you're looking for max transfer, the BLS is your best bet as 60 credits are electives. If you have a good amount of credits that go into a BABA, then you can get an evaluation to see which one you're closer to. Decide then...
if apply and send my transcripts, am I still able to still keep doing sophia and other classes and getting it transferred in? do i pay tuition before or after i send my transcripts and apply? Because at wgu, once youve sent in your transcripts and applied, you cant bring in anymore credits at all.
@bvndz - UMPI does not work like WGU (who does not allow transfers in once enrolled). Although it is better to get all your planned transfer credits in before starting UMPI (that is more efficient of your time/money - as you're working on just UMPI while paying for UMPI), they do allow transfers in once enrolled. Now, UMPI does require permission to transfer in once enrolled, but we have had many people transfer in from outside (Sophia, for example) after they started. With that all said, there is no downside to you applying now and see what you're left with. I agree with your plan to apply for the BLS-Management Minor due to you likely having many existing credits that would fall into electives. If after your evaluation you discover that your not that far off from a BABA you can always switch over.
