Changing career to software development?
#22
@OP, you need a minimum of 24 new credits at TESU for a second degree, that number is for the requirements for the major. For example, you have a degree in History/Political science, you're going for a second degree in Psychology. You will need to take the course to fit the remaining requirements for the major, the AOS electives 'may' be fine with other Social Science electives you already have, thus, you technically only need the 24 NEW credits as long as all the requirements are filled.

If the major is in a completely different field (such as Computer Science), you will need to take courses that are required for the entire major, including the AOS electives. In your specific case, you need a minimum of 36 credits to get the degree... Unless you already have a few of these from your previous undergrad, you will need these, see below: Note: It's up to you to decide if a WGU CBE program is better for you or not. People mention TESU capstone alone is longer than 3/4th the entire degree at WGU.

A. Required Courses (18 Credits)
COS-1110 Introduction to Programming 3
COS-2410 Data Structures 3
MAT-2310 Calculus I 4
MAT-2700 Discrete Mathematics 3
COS-2400 Operating Systems 3
COS-3300 Computer Architecture 3
B. Computer Science Electives (18 Credits)
