Did you look at the Software Engineering degree at WGU? There are only three certifications, two of which are relatively easy, and the third can be transferred from Sophia:
Software Engineering Bachelor's Degree Program Online | WGU
pluggingalong is currently a WGU student and is struggling with that format. Which is fine, it happens. WGU isn't a good fit for every student.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I concur, like how my last university wasn't a good fit for me. But I believe purdue global will be a better fit now.

Did you end up at PUBG? If so, how is it? I am in WGU and having an issue with only being able to bring my memory in to coding exams.
