I suggest you consider appealing to the registrar regarding your transfer of sociology credits from Sophia. The course was converted to SOC-110 a month ago and successfully fulfilled the requirements for the Diversity intercultural literacy section for mine.

Can you explain what you mean by it was converted to SOC-110 a month ago?  I appealed to genedappeals@tesu.edu and got this response from an Assistant Dean "Although ACE recommends credit, each institution determines how credit will transfer.  The University reviewed the course and as of 9/15/21, determined that Sophia's course Intro of Sociology: Embracing Diversity is not equivalent to our SOC-101 Intro to Sociology.  The transfer credit you received is accurate."

I'm half way through the Study.com Sociology course (I had to slow down last week, work is busy), but even if I complete this I wouldn't mind not having to take the proctored final if I could appeal the Sophia course further instead.

Last month, when I transferred, the sociology course I took at Sophia wasn't considered as Soc-101. Instead, it was designated as Soc-110 and fulfilled the diversity category. For further clarification, I recommend reaching out to the registrar directly at registrar@tesu.edu.
