I personally wouldn't recommend that you get a Cybersec degree from TESU - too expensive and will take too long, even with tuition reimbursement (won't help with time). Instead, look at WGU or SNHU or another school entirely. Especially as a 2nd degree seeker.
If you really want a CompSci degree, than TESU is a good option. You can do it entirely via alt-credit, and take the major courses, and then do a final 16cr term to complete the capstone and any other courses you want so that you don't have to pay the residency waiver (which most tuition-reimbursement plans won't pay for).
Thank you for that input! I have a very gracious full tuition reimbursement program from my employer, which has no stipulations in max credits or even degrees. The only stipulation is that the full tuition reimbursement program is only available at TESU so unfortunately I am only looking at TESU.
The 16cr term (or the new 15cr term starting July 1) is because most tuition reimbursement plans won't pay for the residency waiver - they pay for tuition. You might want to check and see if they will pay for the waiver, because if they will, then you can do the entire major via alt-credit and then just do the capstone, and your company will pay for the tuition and waiver. If they won't pay for the waiver, then you would have to pay it out of pocket, and it's $3300 (probably will increase on July 1).
I am going to verify with my Employer on the residency waiver - thanks for that.
