Even though I'm the one who started the whole fiasco about getting the UMPI AALS for FREE on route along with the UMPI BLS, you should only do so for specific reasons. For example, you get a Pierpont BOG AAS emphasis in Info System, you get the UMPI AALS with a general concentration of arts/sciences, business, or something different.
Pierpont BOG AAS is the cheapest option for those who want an option to get the UMPI BAS instead of the BLS, not many can get into the program unless they have those 40+ technical credits, just having the BOG AAS does not allow for an easy ladder to the UMPI BAS. There are just a few minor differences in the BAS vs BLS... You want to review the entire thread and others for that info.
BTW, you haven't updated your original thread here with more details so we 'know' what you're looking for and what your overview is and situation so we can help you further instead of you just asking question and us answering your questions: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...elp-Please
I was someone that can do bookwork with enough time, less memory space/age = more time needed.
I drifted in college not doing what I would have liked most but started doing easiest looking electives which became Child Development A.A.S. which Itawamba doesn't offer anymore. I ran out of student aid there.
I have 64 passed hours there with a 1 credit college newspaper credit Counting 3 other community colleges and AMU/APUS 98 passed hours plus a RQ295 college online intro course from AMU. The newspaper course JOU 1121A and RQ295 might not transfer out of school.
I went to Taft Law School 864 hours and withdrew at Finals because of sickness and didn't have a grade for the year because that's the way they do it.
I finally decided to go to Walden TEMPO BS in Childhood Education Studies since that's where I had most credits and am midpoint there in some classes but did not finish enough to stay in FinAid as my elderly roommate began needing help and I have pause Walden where I can still transfer in 10 semester credits or 15 quarter credits and finish later or whatever.
Now it's come to me there's just as good of prospects at UMPI, WV Regents BA, SUU, and others. I don't know if Excelsior, TESU, or COSC would give me credit. I had been looking for enough credits to get the 3 year Athabasca degree at least.
I'm sure I will make it, but I am being told at UMPI that they don't give an ALS with BLS, perhaps the one there is mistaken, as it is not a YourPace program. So I suppose you might have went onsite or have better information for me.
I presently do some online gig work with TELUS/ Lionbridge and RWS Moravia which does Google training task or Facebook security and shopping ads and so forth. I might end up driving a taxi, but basically am veering toward the educational degree or General Studies and eventually trying some law classes again which I hope will be ABA rather than just CALBAR which some accept non-bachelor students
The world is open to me, I'd just like to get the UMPI associates degree because I have all this debt and nothing to show for it yet. But, I'd like to end up with as well as possible even if just getting associate degrees later on like legal studies and so forth, I will eventually get the higher degrees too. At least with something I could teach online in TESOL, manage fast food, or it's matter of lifetime achievements, credentials, and being as much as I can be in time.
