Do you happen to know anyone who has earned credits for the course "XAMK-Introduction to Video Games Creation"? I'm interested in learning about the difficulty level and the number of exams involved. Also, I currently don't plan to pursue a career in game development.
I haven't taken that course, but I will say that, in general, game development skills are easy to apply to all kinds of application development.
Unfortunately, the course requirements for CS degrees have to live up to the "science" in the name, and tend to be theoretical. The good developers take those courses as students, while also doing tons of self-directed programming projects, internships, robotics labs, etc...
