When I've been in that situation in the past with a different TECEP, TESU actually pulled my registration until I followed up with advising. Be careful.
Agreed, if you receive the message - just email advising that it was intentional and you wish to remain enrolled for the TECEP. They are actually just trying to be helpful by letting you know you signed up for something that you 'can't use' in your planned degree (or at least that is what they believe )
