Hello everyone,
This is my first post here, but I have been a lurker for longer than I care to admit . This is a belated thank you to everyone I have read. There was so much good information. I'm a few weeks away from my first degree.
I was a prior UoPeople and Ashworth student. I transferred out of Ashworth's computer science program, and fortunately most of those credits, plus UoPeople, prof. certifications and some classes I took long ago at a local community college all transferred over. I only had to take a few classes with E.U. itself, and now finishing the capstone with a few weeks left.
I was going to pursue a degree at UMPI as the history degree really interested me and the price is terrific, but in talking to my counselor, she said I would have 88 credits, if I chose to pursue the BS in liberal arts at Excelsior.
I must admit, that is very tempting. I don't know that UMPI would transfer as many credits.
What is your opinion, please? If I reenroll for my bachelor's degree at Excelsior, I suppose I could get the rest done, apart form the second capstone, at Study.com, whereas it might take longer for me to complete at UMPI. I have even entertained the idea of returning to Ashworth to finish the BS in General Studies there, but I doubt I would get as many credits transferred. There may be some other better option out there I don't know about, as well.
Thanks
