Anyone have experience on reevaluating business courses from Faculty members?

I completed two business courses at community college that should be able to transfer as the BUS 220 and BUS 242, but instead it was transferred as business elective. I reached out to Jessica back on Nov 29, 2022, she forwarded my email to the transfer department, but since then have had no response.

Has anyone successfully reevaluated their previous credits? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Jessica got back to me and got me in touch directly with the UMPI transfer officer. I have been working with her for the past few weeks to get my course equivalencies corrected. If you have syllabi from your Community College Business courses that came in as electives, I'd compose a detailed email to Jessica as to why you believe they should be declared as UMPI equivalents to BUS 220 and BUS 242. Make sure you include comparisons to the Course Descriptions and course objectives and such. The Business faculty who are in charge of the equivalencies seem to be pretty set in their positions but I am hoping that they can be persuaded to actually look at the syllabi and decide in my favor. I feel like sometimes they just go off of the course nomenclature and call it good rather than actually look at what the course is actually teaching.
