I'm in Iraq right now so the only way I can take exams is the one weekend per month that the proctor comes from Baghdad. This is making things much more difficult compared to earlier this year(in Texas). Due to my desire to maximize my time I've been studying for 5 exams in the last four weeks.
Tomorrow I'll be taking the following ECE's: "World Population" "Psychology of Adulthood and Aging" and "Social Psychology."
I have so much info in my head right now I feel lilke my brain is swelling...
My plan of study for these final exams has been to read the actual textbook cover to cover and use the IC cards for review and supplemental study.
Because I'm over here I won't have my results for a good 4 to 5 weeks. I took the Soviet Union DSST about 4 weeks ago here (paper and pencil) and I'm still waiting on the results. In any event, let this be a testament that anyone can get their degree this way -- even in Iraq. Right now I'm trying to help my fellow NCOs use this site and begin building confidence to take CLEPs and DSSTs. It's been a rewarding experience so far.
