Or, if you have time left on Sophia, do the course but don't do the last piece of it, so that they don't send it to Credly (I'm assuming they automatically send things to Credly when you complete them; if you can complete it without them sending it to Credly, then by all means, finish the course).
Either way, you'll gain the knowledge, but you won't skip the course at UMPI that makes it easier to complete the subsequent courses you'll be taking which rely on that first course.
You can also hide courses from your Credly account and they won't show up on your transcript.
