Never mind, my advisor confirmed that it would be able to apply toward the lower-level Area of Study Electives Requirement.

Sophia's Introduction to Information Technology comes in as CIS-107 Computer Concepts and Applications.

One thing you can do with TESU's academic advising is asking them to plan your courses. Once you know a course works, then advising will insert that course into your degree plan as a "planned course."

Then after you complete the course, you are sure it will go to the right spot, which may eliminate some confusion when looking at your degree plan.
