You're misunderstanding the ASU.
They're talking about ASU's Ira Fulton's School of Engineering.
That engineering school is ranked among top 80 in US.
Its graduates can easily get into top tech companies right after graduation. I see Ira Fulton graduates working at VISA, Mastercard, Uber, Google, PayPal, etc ...

Obviously, way better than any of the big 3. I think Ira Fulton's BS in CS program promises quality education and employment at top tech.
If I can become a BS in CS student at ASU's Ira Fulton, I'd love to do that at anytime.. but they're too expensive.
I agree that ASU is an average school for other 'humanities' majors...

Their engineering department is well respected. I see some Reddit posts where people have gotten job offers right out of college.
